The Dark Company
Sixth and last expansion of Hero Quest. Printed in Great Britain in April 1992. "The Dark Company" is a commercial operation. In fact, the "Hero Quest Advanced Quest Edition" box is made up of the base set, plus the quest book "The Dark Company", 12 men at arms and 24 weapons for the men at arms. The base set with "The Dark Company" is exactly equal to that one of the 1990. The expansion "The Dark Company" must be played after the fifth expansion, "Wizards of Morcar". Moreover, the presence of 2 weapons rack in the second quest, 2 fireplaces in the third quest, 4 treasure chests in the ninth quest, 3 tables in the eleventh quest indicate the necessity of a further base set for being able to play this expansion in complete way. At last, the presence of 2 hand axes in one of the treasure chests of the second quest, indicates the indispensable use of the new large character sheet, available since the third expansion of Hero Quest, the "Adventure Design Kit".
